Magnesite brick (magnesite brick) is an alkaline refractory with a magnesium oxide content of more than 90% and periclase as the main crystal phase. Generally, it can be divided into two categories: sintered magnesia bricks (also called fired magnesia bricks) and chemically bonded magnesia bricks (also called unfired magnesia bricks). The magnesia bricks with high purity and firing temperature are called direct bonded magnesia bricks due to the direct contact of periclase grains; bricks made of fused magnesia as raw materials are called fused combined magnesia bricks. Magnesia bricks have high refractoriness, good resistance to alkaline slag, high starting temperature for softening under load, but poor thermal shock resistance. The firing temperature of high-purity products is above 1750°C. Non-cast magnesia bricks are made by adding appropriate chemical binders to magnesia, then mixing, molding and drying. Based on the experience in the production of magnesia bricks, in order to make the kiln lining material fully effective, ensure the use cycle of the kiln lining material, and extend the service life, the magnesia brick company has made the following requirements for refractory brick masonry:

1. Carefully clean the dust and slag on the inner wall of the kiln shell;

2. The inside of the kiln shell should be flat without unevenness;

3. The ash gap between the magnesia brick and the brick is controlled within 1.5mm~2mm;

4. The mortar should be applied evenly and fully, without lack of slurry. Spread the clay evenly, and rub the clay with the masonry to make the clay squeeze out in a small amount;

5. The masonry of the kiln lining should be flat without dislocation, and strive to avoid misalignment, tilt, uneven mortar joints, separation from the center, double joints, through joints, openings, voids, burrs, serpentine bends, and masonry bulges And common problems such as mixing.
